Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LearnHub ("the Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

2. User Accounts

To access most features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Not share your account credentials with others
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 require parental consent.

3. Courses & Content

LearnHub provides access to educational content created by instructors. By enrolling in a course:

• You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the course content
• You may not download, copy, reproduce, or redistribute course materials without permission
• Course access is for personal, non-commercial use only
• Certificates are issued upon successful completion of course requirements

Instructors are responsible for the accuracy and quality of their course content. LearnHub does not guarantee that course content is error-free or up-to-date.

4. Payments & Refunds

All prices are listed in Ethiopian Birr (ETB). By making a purchase, you agree to pay the listed price.

• Payments are processed manually and require admin approval
• Enrollment is activated once payment is verified
• Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase
• Refunds are not available after 30% of course content has been accessed
• Scholarship enrollments are non-refundable

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or abusive
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users or instructors
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Submit false or misleading reviews or ratings
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on LearnHub, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, course materials, and software, is the property of LearnHub or its content providers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Instructors retain ownership of their course content but grant LearnHub a license to host, display, and distribute it on the Platform.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time from your account settings.

Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

9. Limitation of Liability

LearnHub is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LearnHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to LearnHub in the 12 months preceding the claim.
